The Popular Music Board puts on a bi-weekly concert series on campus every Wednesday and Friday at 12pm (Tuesday and Thursday during Summer term). These shows take place either in the park blocks on the main stage or in the cafeteria in the Smith Center during rainy weather. As always, these shows are free to the public. We book year-round (except in between terms) and always book one term in advance.
If you have already been booked and need directions or help...
Don't delay in e-mailing us back when we ask you for contract information We have to work within a bureaucracy which means that paperwork takes a long, long, long time to process. If you wait too long to return your contract for instance, you may not get paid on time. I'd hate to be the one to tell you, "I told you so!"
If you are interested in playing, please send a press-kit a few months in advance to:

Also, you can e-mail the Program Coordinator to follow-up on booking requests at popmb@pdx.edu.
We are completely booked for Spring term. Those dates will be posted on the calendar shortly. We are booking all types of bands for Summer term. We are now opening up the stage to brief opening performances. Openers will play for exposure, which is priceless, and extra cheap for us. Provided there are no sound check mishaps, openers will be allowed 10-20 minutes before the show. Singer songwriters, comedy acts, magic, etc. are welcome, as long as the content is appropriate and setup simple.
