The drum clinc is over, thanks to everybody who made it possible, especially, Joel, Karriem, Apple Music, the Distance Learning Center, and PSU AudioVisual.

Pending artist approval we'll be posting some brief sound clips and pictures. Leave feedback for the drum clinic, or any event here.

The PMB is now the proud co-host of a weekly open mic night, free in Food For Thought Cafe, every Thursday at 7.

All Live @ Lunches will be held each Wednesday and Friday from noon-1pm during the Spring Term. Weather permitting, they will go down outside in the parkblocks behind Smith Center at PSU, but indoors in the Parkway Commons North in the event of rain.

Open mike night is canceled May 15th, many apologies

Elliott Smith Tribute Show coming soon to Hawthorne Theater!!!

Please join us at the Hawthorne Theater on Sunday May 18th for our Elliott Smith tribute show featuring local artists and bands re-imagining and re-interpreting Elliott's music. Cost is $10 general admission and $8 for PSU (w/ ID) at the door the night of the event. Doors at 7pm - show at 8pm. All proceeds will benefit OUTSIDE IN and FREE ARTS FOR ABUSED CHILDREN.

Roots Festival 2008!!!!

May 22nd from 10am to 8pm in the PSU Parkblocks. This event is FREE! and open to all-ages! ASPSU Jeopardy from 11-4pm.

Queer Prom 2008 - "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

May 23rd from 8pm to midnight at the PDX QCenter (69 SE Taylor). Cost is $5. Now in its third year, this all-ages community dance will feature the stylings of DJ Camacho all night long.  PDX QCenter, located at 69 SE Taylor, will be transformed into a woodland wonderland where all the faerie kings and queens can come out to play.  Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door & through Ticketmaster.

Campus Recreation End-of-Year Recognition Night

May 29th from 4:30 to 6:30pm on the Stott Center Roof. Live DJs and other cool stuff! Free admission!

Philipino Cultural Night

May 30th from 5-10pm in the Smith Ballroom. Cost will be $10. Sponsored by Kaibigan.

Student Visuals Film Festival

May 30th from 7-10:30pm at 5th Ave. Cinema. Cost if free! Visuals is PSU's bi-annual student film festival, featuring the latest shorts from talented student filmmakers, free Hotlips pizza, and live music. The featured short films often run the gambit from animation to experimental, from music videos to found footage. All films are carefully selected by the PSU Film Committee, and the screening is followed by voting and an awards ceremony in which we bestow our legendary hand customized trophies to the winners for the audience choice and Film Committee Palme d'Or awards. 

Spring Tango Workshop

May 31st from 10am-Midnight in Smith Center rooms 296 and 298. An all-day Tango workshop, including lessons appropriate to all levels.

TASO End of Year Event

jJune 9th from 6:30-9:30pm in the Simon Benson House. Cost: $5 This is an event honoring student achievement throughout the year and recognizing staff and faculty support.

SALPie awards and Midnight Breakfast

June 4th from 7pm to midnight in the Smith Ballroom. Admission is FREE!! Theme will be Casino Royale - with jazz Vegas style and real life casino games!

Spring Formal Fundraiser

June 21st from 6pm to midnight in the Smith Ballroom. Cost is $30. Local singers, dances, as well as possibly a skit, speeches, and sideshows.

VSA Enchanted Formal Spring Fundraiser

June 21st from 6pm-midnight in the Smith Ballroom. This event is a fundraiser to Support the UNAVSA Conference and
Vietnam Voice in building a Center in Cambodia to help stop human trafficking. Cost: $32 single; $60 couple
